These terms describe the practical ground rules for using Beer Study Buddy, including study content, accounts, community links, and limitations.
Beer Study Buddy provides study tools, topic summaries, BJCP style browsing, and practice prompts for beer education. It is not an official BJCP or Cicerone® product, does not guarantee exam results, and does not replace official syllabi, guidelines, training, or professional judgment.
BJCP style content is organized from public BJCP beer style guidance. Cicerone® study lanes are organized around public syllabus category structure and original educational prompts. Beer Study Buddy does not provide proprietary exam questions, answer keys, or confidential exam content.
Some profile and progress features use Slack OpenID Connect. You are responsible for your Slack account and for using the site in a way that does not interfere with other learners, the application, or connected services.
Beer Study Buddy links to outside resources, social communities, and official education sites. External websites and community spaces are responsible for their own content, rules, privacy practices, and availability.
Feedback, corrections, and suggestions are welcome. If you submit feedback, you allow Beer Study Buddy to use it to improve site content, study tools, and documentation without creating a compensation obligation.
