Exam Focus

  • Glasses should not be warm to the touch.
  • Room-temperature and chilled glasses are acceptable.
  • Frozen glasses are not recommended.
  • A cold-water rinse can remove sanitizer, cool the glass, and aid foam.
  • Do not rinse used glasses on a glass rinser.

Glass temperature and rinse

Service glassware should be clean and ready for beer, not warm, frozen, or carrying sanitizer. Rinsers are preparation tools for clean glasses, not cleaning tools for used ones.
